Historical Fiction

I am interested in the Historical Fiction genre.  I have always enjoyed history and the fiction component adds an interesting twist.  Historical Fiction allows us to be creative and imaginative almost viewing an alternative path to history.  So, I found this article yesterday while surfing the internet.  I was familiar with the story of this young woman.  If you enjoy history, you may enjoy this new novel.  An article on this new novel  The Gilded Years is available at this link Washington Post: The Gilded Years
